Following Coi Leray’s heartbreaking divorce from Benzino, few details regarding her mother and her whereabouts have been revealed.
Coi Leray said in an interview with the Breakfast Club that she didn’t like Benzino as a father figure since he was absent, cruel, and spiteful after her success.

Coi was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 11, 1997, to her mother and rapper father Benzino.
She is one of Benzino’s six children, with five additional brothers as siblings.
Benzino, the co-founder of The Source, divorced his then-wife, Coi’s mother when he left the company.
Coi has been involved in the music industry since she was 14 years old.
She dropped out of high school when she was 16 years old and began working in sales.
Coi noted that her family’s limited income caused her a lot of hardships and that Benzino was of little assistance to her.
Benzino then clarified the situation, claiming that Coi was reared in a large mansion, had pretty much everything during her youth, and was incredibly adored and appreciated.
What line did Coi Leray say about her dad?
Earlier this week, Coi Leray said she had more respect for her father Benzino and started working on mending their relationship — even after he almost ruined her Nicki Minaj collaboration. Now, it looks like things have gone left after her dad apparently had a problem with something else she said.During her interview with The Breakfast Club on Wednesday, April 6, the “Blick Blick” rapper described what her life was like before she got into the music industry. She explained how broke she was as a kid, which she said was around the time Benzino had been ousted from The Source magazine.
“My dad lost The Source when I was like nine,” Coi said. “Once it was gone, I was old enough to understand life and it was gone after that. Reality hit, we were broke, and we were figuring things out.”
